Terms of Use

Important: Pipsity TJ is a journal and analysis tool. It is not financial advice and does not place trades. Trading forex, CFDs, crypto and other leveraged products carries a high risk of loss. You are solely responsible for your trading decisions.

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Pipsity TJ trading journal at tradingjournal.pipsity.com, including the version installed on your home screen (the "Service"), operated by Pipsity TJ ("we", "us"). By signing in or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

1. The Service

Pipsity TJ lets you record trades, attach chart screenshots, keep a daily journal, track accounts and transactions, and view statistics and tools such as a position size (lot size) calculator, an economic calendar and an optional AI day review. We may add, change or remove features over time.

2. Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old, and allowed by the laws where you live, to use the Service.
You sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping that account secure and for all activity under it.
One account is for one person. Don't share your account or let others use it.

3. Free trial and licenses

New accounts get a free trial of 15 days with full access. One trial per person. Creating extra accounts to get more trials is not allowed.
To keep using the Service after the trial, you need a license key. Licenses are offered for different periods (for example monthly, yearly or lifetime). The price and period are shown when you buy.
A license key can be redeemed only once, by one account, and is not transferable. Don't share, resell or publish license keys.
A "lifetime" license means access for as long as we operate the Service. It does not mean the lifetime of the user.
When your trial or license ends, you can still sign in, view and export your data, but you can't add or change entries until you redeem a new key.
We may revoke a license key that was obtained by fraud, shared publicly, or used in breach of these Terms.
Refund requests are handled case by case. Contact us within 7 days of purchase if something is wrong.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

try to access other users' data, or bypass security, trial, license or upload limits
upload anything illegal, harmful, or that you don't have the right to upload (screenshots should be your own charts)
use the Service to store content unrelated to your trading journal, or to overload our systems (for example with automated or excessive uploads)
copy, resell or redistribute the Service, or use it to build a competing product

We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.

5. Your data

You own your data. The trades, notes, journal entries and screenshots you add belong to you.
You give us permission to store, process and display that data only as needed to provide the Service to you, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You can export your trades to CSV at any time. We work hard to keep your data safe, but we recommend exporting regularly so you have your own backup. We are not responsible for data loss beyond what the law requires.

6. No financial advice; accuracy of figures

Nothing in the Service is investment, financial, tax or trading advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell anything.
P&L, R-multiples, statistics, currency conversions and position sizes are calculated estimates, based on what you enter and on standard contract sizes and exchange rates that may differ from your broker's. Always check figures with your broker before you rely on them, especially lot sizes before you open a trade.
AI day review: the optional AI review is generated by an AI model, is a Labs feature, and can be wrong, incomplete or misleading. It is a reflection aid, not trading or financial advice, and it can't be relied on to detect your behaviour accurately. Pressing the review button sends that day's trades and notes to Google's Gemini model (see the Privacy Policy). Don't include anything in your notes that you don't want processed this way. We may limit, change or remove this feature at any time.
The economic calendar and exchange rates come from third parties.
Prop-firm limit tracking is a guide only. Your prop firm's own rules and records always take priority.

7. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties such as Google (sign-in, database, hosting), Cloudflare (screenshot storage), Google Gemini (AI day review), TradingView (economic calendar) and Telegram (support and license sales). Their services are covered by their own terms. We are not responsible for their availability or actions.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and working, but we don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted, error-free or reachable from every network or country. We may perform maintenance, make changes, or suspend the Service when needed. If we ever decide to shut the Service down permanently, we will try to give reasonable notice so you can export your data.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement, to the extent the law allows.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent the law allows, we are not liable for any trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for your license in the 12 months before the claim.

11. Ending your use

You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your account (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms or if required by law. Sections 5, 6, 9 and 10 continue to apply after your use ends.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll change the effective date above. For significant changes, we'll also let you know in the app. If you keep using the Service after an update, you accept the new Terms.
