This policy explains how Pipsity TJ ("Pipsity TJ", "we", "us") handles information when you use the trading journal at tradingjournal.pipsity.com, including the version installed on your home screen (the "Service").
You sign in with your Google account. We receive and store your name, email address and a unique account ID from Google. Your profile picture is shown in the app directly from Google, and we don't store it. We never see or store your Google password.
We do not ask for or store broker logins, account passwords or any payment card details.
When you import a MetaTrader 4/5 statement, the file is read inside your browser. Only the trades and transactions you choose to import are saved. The statement file itself is not uploaded.
The AI day review in the Journal tab runs only when you press its button. When you do, the details of that day's trades (symbol, direction, size, result, stop-loss use, strategy, mood tags and notes) and your plan, review and discipline score for that day are sent to Google's Gemini model to write the review. Nothing is sent automatically. The review it returns is saved with that day's journal entry, like the rest of your data.
We store when your free trial started, until when you have access, and which license key you redeemed, so the Service can tell whether you have an active trial or license.
The app saves some settings in your browser's local storage, such as your theme, selected account, calculator inputs and cached exchange rates. It also keeps an offline copy of your journal so it works without a connection. This stays on your device. You can remove it by signing out or clearing your browser data.
Like any website, the servers that host the Service (Google and Cloudflare) receive technical details such as your IP address and browser type when your device connects. They may keep these in their logs for security and reliability. We don't use these details to build a profile of you.
We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with data brokers.
We use trusted providers to run the Service. They process data on our behalf, or provide features you use:
These providers may store data in data centers in different countries. They use their own security measures and are bound by their own terms and privacy policies.
We don't use advertising or analytics cookies. The app uses browser storage only for the purposes described in section 1, such as keeping you signed in and remembering your settings. Third-party widgets, such as TradingView, may set their own cookies.
We keep your journal for as long as your account exists, including after your trial or license ends. That way your data is still there if you come back, and you can always export it. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your account and journal data, including screenshots, within 30 days. Copies may remain in provider backups or logs for a limited time before they are overwritten.
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to your data is restricted by sign-in checks on the server, not just in the app. Our image storage is private and not publicly reachable. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. We recommend protecting your Google account with two-step verification.
The Service is meant for adults interested in trading. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we'll delete it.
We may update this policy as the Service changes. When we do, we'll change the effective date at the top. For significant changes, we'll also let you know in the app. If you keep using the Service after an update, you accept the new policy.
